This week was our first attempt at potty training. I have to say it didn't go as bad as I thought it would. We only had two of the real yucky accidents. Gavin does really good going #1, its #2 that he cant really seem to get. But none the less it has been a good week for me and my patience.
I know you moms out there have their own techniques that really work for you and I would like to hear them. We have done the cold turkey method (kind of). I put him in big boy undies and then every 25min. take him to go potty. And when we leave to go to pre-school or run errands I put him in pull ups. Give me your advice.

I dont have potty advice yet, we are not there and thats ok with me,ha ha.. but I have no idea when we will be out next. We really want to go out for Halloween bc I love it in Ca. the weather is the best! But ill let you know next time so we can maybe meet up!
I would put on undies, and if they had an accident then I knew they weren't ready and we'd wait a few more weeks then try again. One day it just clicked with each of them, no bribes no fancy tricks. I've NEVER cleaned up a poopy accident, I just waited until they were each ready. My boys were trained at 28 mos and 32 mos. Don't stress about it, let it happen naturally. There's my advice... good luck!
I helped a friend potty train her little girl and the first time we kept her on the toilet forever and she finally went... we were reading books to her while she was on there and everything. Once she went we made the biggest deal and gave her a piece of candy.. she was perfect from there... its a long wait though when she was sitting on the toilet. We kept asking her if she heard anything yet..... good luck!
