I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE fall. Everything about it. The crisp air, getting bundled up in cozy sweaters, soups and comfort foods, yummy drinks at Starbucks!. And the list keeps going and going.
This week we went on a field trip with Katie's home school group to Oak Glen! Each apple farm up there is unique. They all grow different varieties of apples. Over the past few years I have figure out that my favorite kind of apple is a Honey Crisp apple. They are mostly sweet with a little tartness, and very crunchy! I love crisp, crunchy apples!
(Gavin's 1st Carmel Apple, he kept saying..."more carmel, more carmel")
Now, Im not a huge pie person but Apple is my favorite. There is a restaurant up there, Laws. They serve the BEST apple pie I have every had. The best part is they drizzle this cinnamon vanilla sauce over your pie. My mouth waters even talking about it. Im excited that we'll be returning there in a few weeks since Spencer didnt get to go with us.
Since I have already been up to the apple farms and this week we have entered into the month of October. Where is fall? Im awaiting the nice cool weather. Come on Mother Nature, help us out!

I am excited to go there this year and I am going to try that pie! I love fall too. And seriously enough with the 100 degree weather already.
Fall is my favorite time of year. I love the weather during fall. Let us know when you guys go to Oak Glen. I've been wanting to go. It would be fun!
I am so jealous!!! I really want to try to go there when we come down in November. Gavin sure looks like he was enjoying his apple! After talking to you guys I got hungry for one, so I made a caramel chocolate one. And made the mistake of giving Kiera a piece...I swear I blinked my eyes and she was decorating her face in chocolate war paint. I would have taken a picture but Jase had the camera that night!
We love fall too! but I am not rushing the cooler weather bc when that happens snow happens for us in Utah... blah!
