6 quirks of mine:
*Good Music = Got to Dance:
I love good music. You know those songs that makes your whole body want to move. So, whenever I hear a good song I have to get up to dance and sing! Yeah, Im the crazy person next to you on the street dancing in their car. Gavin even knows this to be true. When we hear the "Umbrella" song from Rihanna Gavin says "dance mommy". Now this by no means, mean that Im a GOOD dancer. I just cant help it!
*Hot Fries:
Whenever I get french fries with a meal they are the first to go. I HATE cold, even luke warm fries. And I eat them all before touching any of my other food.
*Odd Numbers:
I dont like odd numbers. Even are just better. I wont have 3 or 5 kids because someone will be left out. If you have 4 or 6 kids, then everyone has a buddy (6 is too many for me, I think 4 is our number). And if I were to grab a handful of M&M's and I got down to the last few and I had an odd number I would pick one more out so it would be even. -This isnt supposed to sounds normal they are "quirks," right?
*White Shoes
For some strange reason I think white shoes can pretty much go with any outfit. This is not the case with black shoes. I can only wear black shoes if there is black in my outfit.
*Time:
If Spencer says Im just gonna go to the store real quick to get some ice cream. This should only really only take him 10-15min. Ralphs is literally around the corner. If I notice that he has been gone 25min. I start to get a little concerned. So, I'll call his cell phone. Now, if he doesnt answer (no cell reception, left his cell in the car etc.). Then I start to have a mini panic attack. For sure Ralphs was robbed and he was taken hostage or he got car jacked. I think this has to do with the fact that Spencer was in a really BAD car accident a few years ago just going on an errand.
*Birthdays!!!
Spencer thinks this is hilarious. I LOVE birthdays, and that's an under statement. Im turning 29 in a month or so and I still count down until the BIG day. I also countdown until Spencer's b-day too. I get up early and make a special breakfast for him. I'll also make his favorite dinner and dessert too. Then of course open presents. And I am a big cheater. If I can find the presents for me I'll peek. I have even un-wrapped them to see what is inside. The suspense kills me. Then the weekend following our b-days we'll go out and do something fun to celebrate. For example we have gone to the Huntington Library, Vegas, Sea World, Club 33 at Disneyland and then an yummy dinner at one of our favorite restaurants! I think I get this from my mom. She still make me my favorite b-day dinner and dessert!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets irrational and worried when my husband doesn't answer his cell phone! I'm also the same way with birthdays, still count down the days and snoop and try to guess my presents. Only I never REALLY want to know what the presents are its just fun to try and guess. K, I'm going to do the tag on my blog now...I've got some weird quirks I think!
That was a fun little thread!! I love to dance to music too! My mom gets so embarrassed when I dance in the car and other people look at us. lol.
Yes, maybe it is a trend to buy sewing machines before learning how to sew. I figure the best way to learn to sew is by just doing it! I really want to develop as many talents as I can, and sewing seemed fun enough! CAn you sew?
I like all of your quirks. I can totally relate.
I love the m&m thing! And I TOTALLY do the same thing with Zach, if I feel like its been too long when he is out running an errand I always have him text me to make sure he is on his way or arrived safe, I start thinking the worst in my head so Im always telling him to be extra safe wherever he goes.
