We have started a new tradition this year. We went to see the lights at the L.A. Temple. Our hope is to go every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I have always to take the kids but it seems like there is never enough time to do everything we want to do during the Christmas season. Our Stake Presidency has really been encouraging us to take our families to the temple. Not just to get a sitter and do a session but to take our whole family there. There is always such a sweet spirit there and to have the kids being there was so sweet.
Funny side story... There was a couple that was there who were just sealed and taking pictures outside. Gavin ran up to me and asked if he could take a picture with the princess. She over heard and asked him to come over. She was so sweet and hugged him and told him he needed to find a princess to bring there and get married to.
We were lucky enough to have my brothers and sister go with us. My brother Nathan just got a new fancy camera and took some great picts. of us!

Than tonight we went and walked around the Mission Inn to see there lights. They were very impressive. And a nice night to walk around. Im excited we are able to really celebrate Christmas this year with all the festivities. 
Last year we were moving and Im happy to be settled in our home this Christmas. And Im looking forward to lots of hot chocolate by the fire.

Sounds like fun! Did you ever find out what was wrong with Grant? I can't believe how big his is now!!
Some of my best memories were going to the temple for mutual growing up. We are starting that tradition with our kids too. Although I'm bummed that the visitor's center is closed. That's cute about the bride :)
