Lake Arrowhead

We were lucky enough to take a little getaway for a few days to Lake Arrowhead. My mother in law has a time share there and she let us use it for a few day. The first day we spent there we went to this nearby lake, Lake Gregory. It was SO much fun! I think the boys would have stayed there all day if we would have let them. This lake has a nice sandy shore, two fun looking water slides (Gavin was a few inches too short, maybe next time!), and fun things to rent for the water. Spencer went and rented a long board and that I think was the highlight of the day. At one point the boys were like a bunch of little seals. Sliding on their tummys on to the board and off the other side. It was nice and hot and the lake the perfect temp. to cool you off.













That Fri and Sat night we to the "Village" and walked around. Lots of cute shops, a little playground and a beautiful view of Lake Arrowhead, not to mention yummy treats (Rocky Mountain coconut delight carmel apple. Oh yeah!).





Every morning we went on a little hike/nature walk. It was so peaceful being there!

We went to church up there Sunday morning. And I wish I would have taken a pict. of their building, it is so beautiful. On our way home we stopped for a picnic lunch.









I love little trips like this. I love getting away but I love coming home just as much. Thanks again Mama Jones!
