Gag and Brag

We have this joke on my side of the family. You know at Christmas time when you get those page long letters from your friends, acquaintances and family about how wonderful and perfect their lives are. For example," Right now Susie is the captain of the cheer squad with a 5.9 GPA in school. In her spare time runs a shelter for the homeless, is the MVP on her softball team, and is completing her Personal Progress in Young Women's for the 3rd time." In our family we call those gag n' brag letters. So, you get the picture...maybe I was a little over the top. Well, I enjoy hearing what people up to but I can't stand bragging. With all this being said. I don't want to brag. But, I need to write this down and say I am very much in love with my little D (a.k.a. Grant, I call him little D since he has dimples everywhere!). He is the happiest, I swear the happiest little boy I have ever seen. When I gets up from a nap or sleeping, he is smiling (unless he is starving). When someone gets close to him and starts talking to him, he usually is smiling. You can pats his little hands to do "patty cakes" and he giggles. He is so content with just laying down anywhere or sitting in his swing. Don't get me wrong he does get fussy. But I am loving his easy going demeanor. It is so incredible how these little bundles of joy come pre-packaged with their own little personalities.

Thats funny that your family calls those letters "gag n' brag" letters. Those kind of letters are annoying though!

remind me not to send you my christmas letter! lol jk I don't do those. Grant does have such a cute smile and looks so happy in his pictures. Maybe its a second baby thing because Elsie is so easy going and happy too. She never cries unless to tell me she's hungry or poopy and even then its not a screaming cry just a complaint.

Oh, I can't wait to kiss his cute little dimple face! I'm sure Kiera thinks so too, she can't wait to see Buddy and Baby Grant again!

He sooo is the happiest little guy. And loves to coo and talk. All we could get from Gavin was a good stare down like we were the lamest people ever and interrupting whatever he had going on. LOL. He's still got that stare, but he's hilarious.
