Fourth of July has to be one of my favorite holidays. You cant go wrong with a pancake breakfast, swimming, BBQ'n, and fireworks.
Our day started out with the usual pancake breakfast with our ward. I think its a fun way to start the holiday( and we really LOVE our ward!).
Next we come home pack up our things and head of to Grandma Jones' house for the usual BBQ and swim.
I was at Walmart earlier this week and I found a slip n' slip for $8.00, you can bet that. After seeing Gavin and Spencer having so much fun on it, it might be the best $8.00 I have ever spent.

(Spencer ran next to the slip n' slip holding Gavins hand, then he would let go and Gavin would fly down the slide)
We left there in the early afternoon to head home for naps. And believe it or not everyone got one managed to get one!
We were planning on walking to a park (Westwind) near us to avoid the parking drama. But we ended up getting a call from some of our friends the Qualls who invited us over to their house to see fireworks with them and the Orton's and the Lackey's. Let me tell you, it was so nice to let Gavin play in their backyard until fireworks started. When it came time we just walked in their front yard and could see fireworks perfectly. But I have to say the best part of the day was when Gavin first saw the fireworks," WHOA, MOM, WHOA!!"

I LOVE the 4th too! Ok, when I saw that picture of Spencer on the slip and slide it just made me laugh! He is crazy. Looks like you guys had a blast!
I keep telling Dan to buy a slip n slide, I loved those when I was little! Looks like you guys had a great 4th of July. oh and a side note- I finished new moon! IT was SOOOOOOOOOOOO good! I almost called you the other day to talk about it but I was in the car and that stupid hands free cell phone law won't allow me to use the phone. I have a speaker on the phone but it doesn't work very well. ANyway, can't wait to start eclipse! Your family picture on the 4th is really good!
OH and I just realized your cam countdown. Are you guys SO excited?!
