Highlights from this week

This has been a busy week, but a fun one. Sunday we meet up with one of my close friends Bethany and her whole family for dinner. While we were all together she announced she is pregnant with her first. So exciting! And sad she is really sick too.

Tuesday we went to Corona Del Mar with Bethany before she left to go back to Utah. Im glad we were able to spend some more time together. She recently graduated from BYU and now her and her hubby are going to be moving to Kansas where he is stationed for the Army.
I haven't been to Corona Del Mar since probably 10. Its my new favorite beach it has close parking, and it is really CLEAN!

Later that night we went back to look at this house we have walked through before. Its kind of funny, we have been talking about this house ever since we looked at it two months ago. I wasn't crazy about it but, when we went back and looked at it it really grew on me.The backyard is nice size too. Other than the kitchen being a little small I really like it. So, we put an offer in on it. Our realtor said that since it is a short sale it will take about 45days to hear back. In the mean time we are still looking.
Thursday was pretty much dedicated to reading/finishing Breaking Dawn. The last of the Twilight Series books. Two of my friends from the ward and I got tickets to go to the book signing/concert. It was a blast!!!! Justin Furstenfeld the lead singer from the band Blue October played some songs acoustically (Hate Me), which happened to go along with some of the characters in the books. Justin has a really amazing voice. He has some unique lyrics in his songs! I have a new found love for his music. And of course I was excited to get my book signed. Stephenie Meyer is really down to earth and I admire that.

(Im sad they guy who took this picture did a crappy job!)
Now you are all probably going to laugh that I put this down on this weeks highlights but. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the show So You Think You Can Dance. I had a busy week, this week so I tivo'd it. And just finished watching the finale. Im pretty sad this season is over. There were so many AMAZING dances this season. I have to say though, I really like Twitch and Joshua but Will is my favorite!

You met her! Cool! So I'm assuming you finished the book? This one took me about 5 days to finish, the other ones took no more than 2 days, this one felt so long but good ending! Sounds like a fun week for you!

It's about time you have a new post I can comment on, woman! Bethany looks good, although she is sick. Have you told her about unisom yet? Your pics were cute! Did you ever find Diddy Riese? And is the author in your pic at the book signing or are those your friends? Anywho, fun times! Hope you hear good news about the house, although that seems like forever to wait. And have fun at Mammoth for me!

You lucky woman! That would have been so fun to go to her signing! I just had to run over to the book store early Saturday morning to get the book, not as exciting! But I loved it, cannot wait for the movie!!!
