First of all we moved in to our house on the 15th. We were lucky enough to get our wood flooring put in and paint all the major living areas and the boys rooms. In just 3 days.
I was happy to be in our house and celebrate both Spencer and Gavin's birthdays. We even weathered the rain at Disneyland to celebrate. Sad I don't have any pictures of it. Its all on video camera.
Then Spencer's dad come over with his mom (Spencer's only Grandparent who is still alive) to decorate sugar cookies. A few of the grand kids came over had so much fun doing this with their great grandmother. Great idea Bruce. We need to make it a new tradition.
(Maurina is an amazing cookie decorator)
(They ate more frosting then they put on the cookies. And this look from Aubrey totally sums her up. LOL)
(Grant enjoying his first sugar cookie)
Just some thoughts to my sweet little family.
Gavin-
I cant believe how time has flown by. You are my new 3 year old. You are growing way too fast. When we took you to your check up you were 40" tall. That means lots of fun at Disneyland. I admire how kind hearted you are. You sympathetically cry with your brother when he gets a shot. You have been a great big brother to Grant. I love watching you run across the backyard with your never ending energy. I hope you look to your father who is such a great example of a righteous man. I love you, always remember this!
(Can you tell he had the best Christmas?)
Grant-
You are breaking my heart with how fast you are growing. We are quickly approaching your first birthday. On the (19th of Dec. I don't want to forget) You started taking you first steps. Now you are trying to walk everywhere. You are so easy going I love that about you. It reminds me a lot of your dad. Keep your happy and easy going demeanor- Love you
(Wasn't quite sure about all the commotion on Christmas)
Spencer-
Thanks for one of the best presents ever. Our new home. Its wasn't the one that I loved the most when we were looking. But now I cant imagine living anywhere else. It really feels like home now. Thanks for all your hard work. XOXOXO
