Do you ever have so much you want to blog about and you just don't blog because you don't know where to start. That has been me this last week.
First of all Valentines Day was awesome! Spencer and I went out to dinner on Friday night to avoid the crowds. We have some really delicious food at Roadhouse Grill. They give you these HOT biscuits (more like scones, I think) that are like pillows of heavenly goodness. Yummy! Then the next morning we went to breakfast at the Honey baked Ham Cafe. Seriously the BEST breakfast I have ever had. Which consisted of french toast stuffed with this cream cheese and pecan mixture topped with fresh strawberries and whip cream. I think everyone pretty much enjoyed their food especially Gavin he was licking his plate clean. We lucked out this year. Spencer filed our tax returns early and we were able to splurge on gifts for each other. Im so lucky to have 3 handsome Valentines!
(Yep, literally licking the plate clean)
(Grant love the strawberries and whip cream)
BIRTHDAYS
My little Grant. What has happened to this year? Im so in love with your little round body! I love your sweet easy going demeanor. I know you defiantly got that from your dad. I love the funny faces you make. The one where you scrunch up your nose like a little pug dog is my favorite. I love how when I hold you, you grasp on to my necklace and if Im not wearing it my shirt. I love your little dimples, I cant kiss them enough. I love your little giggle it melts my heart. Thank you for choosing us for your family. We love you.
And to my dad. You still never seem to amaze me at what a hard worker you are. Commute to Irvine, work all day, commute home to hurry and eat dinner so you can go and attend to your bishop duties. Then come Saturday busy with yard/house work. This is all done with little complaint. Thank you for always having the Priesthood present in our home. It was always a great comfort. I love how you still think your are a kid and can do anything (referring to the broken ankle while playing football on Thanksgiving, cant really blame him though. A Samoan fell on him.) I love the special bond you have with my two little guys. Especially Grant, he just adores you! Love you Dad!
Here are picts of the festivities
(New truck from Nana and Papa)
(Monday the 16th we took the kids to Chuck E Cheese for the first time, of course they loved it except Grant wasnt a fan of this ride. LOL)
IM SO OVER SICKNESSES
About a month a ago the boys got a little cough (seriously it was just a little thing) on Sat.. I decided to take them in on Monday since they were starting to get snotty. Well, the both of them had ear infections in both ears along with the cough. We took all the medicine End of story....Wrong
3 weeks later Im taking Grant in for his year check up and he has a fever that morning. Come to find out apparently his ear infection never cleared up. GRRRRR. And can someone please tell me how Im supposed to know that? Poor little guy. Now I know why he wasn't a happy camper on his birthday. Im hoping that when we are done with this round of medicine we will be back to normal.
I know. I am really blessed because they are usually really healthy.
