I have been searching the web for fun little things to keep my boys busy this summer. Gavin tried this one out today and loved it I call it Foam Snakes.
Here is how its done:
1. Cut the bottom off a plastic water bottle.
2. Cover the open end with a circular piece of towel that's a few inches wider than the bottle. Secure the towel with a rubber band.
3. Dampen the towel with water, then dip it into a shallow bowl of dish soap. Blow gently through the mouth of the bottle to create snakes of tiny bubbles.
(It was a little breezy so they broke off)

Ooh, that's a good one. My kids love bubbles.
We should get together next week for that salt water taffy!
Have you seen this book? A friend of mine had it on her blog and she really loves it. It's called "The Toddler's Busy Book" by Trish Kuffner and its full of things like that. She said it was $12 at borders but you could probably get it off of Amazon as well.
