Easter Firsts

This is the first time we are hosting a holiday meal at our house. Being that we have only had a house for a short time now. This is also my fist time cooking a ham. Im not a huge ham lover. I really prefer turkey over ham. On my side of the family we usually have a warm pineapple sauce that we put on our pieces of ham. But my question is Do you do anything to your ham to make it really yummy? or What do you have for your Easter dinner that you cant live without?

I really love honey baked (But they are costly if you have a large group) so the next one is Costco, they are really good, more affordable, AND they give you all the seasoning and everything you need. We just open up the ham slices and put the seasoning in between each slice so it really absorbs the sauce, does that make sense. Its really good though.

Go to www.melskitchencafe.com and she has two recipes for ham that seem really yummy and easy. I really like her recipes even if I haven't made the ham one yet. She has some other easter recipes on there too.

Mmm...our potatoes are the best! We make them twice a year, at Thanksgiving and at Easter. I personally haven't made the ham before, so I have no advice to give, sorry!

I was gonna say, yeah, it's called honeybaked ham! The 'no fail' version of easter. But Heidi beat me to it! :)
