I got this idea from my friend Hayley's blog.
I just enjoyed the nice Memorial Day with my little family and extended family. I thought it would be nice to document somethings everyone is enjoying/doing at this time in their life.
Grant loves:
to eat dirt
play in water
be Gavin's shadow
swing
play with cars
throw balls
playing peek a boo
He is currently:
climbing on top of our dinning table
mimicking everyone
doing the shape sorter
coloring outside with chalk
Gavin loves:
jumping on the trampoline
swimming (3 hours in grandmas pool today, probably would have stayed in longer if we would have let him)
reading books
running/exploring
memory/hungry hungry hippos
F.H.E. (he asks if we can play family home evening)
He is currently:
memorizing the article of faith (has #1 down)
spelling his name (trying on writing..... much harder)
talking non stop. I love it!
riding a big boy bike (with training wheels)
I'm loving:
the fun girls night outs we have been having
lame reality shows (Bachelorette, So You Think You Can Dance, A.I., etc)
one on one time with my little ones
cuddling up with my hubby at night.....(I know cheesy)
Big Stick Popsicles
I am currently:
working out in the morning, and doing well at this goal
trying a new recipe once a week, huge hit in our house. Have found some keepers!
reading (scriptures, and I have read 5 books recently)
slowing down- I know this may sound funny. But those who really know me. Know that I am always on the go. Recently I have been trying to relax and enjoy more fully the moments I have. I have been able to see the difference. And I love it. I have been less stressed and more appreciative of the thing I have been blessed with.
Spencer loves (I haven asked him but Im guessing):
World of Warcraft
NBA finals
his Friday's off
playing frisbee golf with the guys
He is currently:
current book he is reading "The Sex Lives of Cannibals" its not what it sounds like
spending time with the scouts
enjoying being a manly man fixing little things around the house (ok Im enjoying it)
loving our date nights...LOL

And Gavin is trying to memorize an article of faith, that seems CRAZY!
Well my wife does know me well. And yes I do play and love video games. I also enjoy reading, listening to music and most sports especially football.

My boys are like Gavin, they ask every day if it's Family Night. That's awesome that he has the 1st AF memorized! I'm hooked on the lame reality shows too (whoops!). And what is this book Spencer is reading??? Hmmm... :)
oh yeah i will hike with you...my fam tries to do it once a month too for fhe, so I will let you know next time we do it and you guys can come...after bringing ice cream to hayley, they all LOVE you and think you are the nicest person in the WORLD! Food wins us all over very easily...he he he
