Please tell me I'm not the only one this happens to.
Tonight we had the missionaries and my mother in law over for dinner. I love having the missionaries in our home and the spirit they bring. But, its a little hard to feel the spirit when you son who today was complemented by 3 different people in church today for being so reverent. Transforms into a complete crazy little guy.
For example:
While we are eating dinner he is trying to pull the table cloth off. Gets up from the table and tries to make a run for outside. After dinner he takes the missionaries backpack and starts unloading. Then while we are trying to have a spiritual thought he is jumping on top of the Elders and the couch, then laying across them. During the prayer he is breathing like Darth Vader.
Why??? Does he feel like he is not getting enough attention? Oh, I don't know. But I am sure glad its bedtime!

You're not the only one. I'm in that club too. Welcome to the wonderful world of boys. :)
I feel your pain. Charles does the same thing. He is a perfect angel at church but at home it's a whole other ball game. But my mother in law always says If your kids are well behaved with others then you know you are doing your job.
ditto.
I hear ya BIG TIME!!! The part about the Darth Vador breathing makes me laugh so hard.
